NonTraditional Marketing Mash by Omarr Cantú

Non-Traditional Marketing Guru. Social Media Addict. Ad Man. Movie Buff. Live Music Lover. Cigar Aficionado.

Traditional Marketing is Dead. Given this is a bold statement, but it is my belief that with a growing generation of Americans that have become desensitized by the constant bombardment of media the only way to get recognized is by taking a non-traditional approach.

Non-Traditional is the future of the industry, and that's where I come in. I love non-traditional marketing and often come across many original (and not so original) ideas during my travels out in the field. The disciplines discussed will all fall under non-traditional marketing but will include event marketing, field marketing, street marketing, and of course guerrilla marketing. This is a mash of cool ideas that catch my eye that I thought would be worthy to share with you. Enjoy the mash and don't forget to wash your hands.

Sunset and The Rare Super Harvest Moon atop Mt. Bonnell - Austin, TX

This evenings attempt to get some fresh air was a complete and total success. Erica, my girlfriend, and I headed out, despite the showers to get a check out one of Central Texas' hidden gems. Luckily when we got there, the rain stopped, and nothing but cool, clean air surround the peak. It was good to look out over Mt. Bonnell to get a little closer to nature and remember that WE (mankind) are lucky to be blessed every day. It was a very serendipitous moment when we realized that tonight was the night of the very rare Super Harvest Moon. To give you an idea of how rare this natural occurrence is, the last Super Harvest Moon was 20 years ago. Pretty sweet, not to mention beautiful.

Anyway, it was too gorgeous of a view to keep to myself. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Cheers,

Why Doesn't @RewardZone Twitter refer to @BestBuy on the Twitter Page?!

Is this Best Buy Reward Zone? Canadian Bacon Reward Zone? Blue Bell Ice Cream Reward Zone?
Where is the branding and consistency?!
